Position Overview

We are recruiting a full-time remote PhD Admissions Consultant with a PhD from a UK or US university who has a strong understanding of the doctoral application system and academic research process.

This role suits PhD graduates seeking a stable, long-term academic career. We are looking for someone with integrity, excellent academic judgment, and outstanding English proficiency who genuinely values education and mentorship.

The consultant will primarily guide students applying for PhD programs but may also advise on Master's and undergraduate applications when relevant.

Key Responsibilities

Review students' CVs, personal statements, and research proposals. Provide detailed academic feedback aligned with UK and US academic standards. Refine research directions, methodologies, and logical frameworks. Conduct mock PhD interviews and provide structured feedback. Coach students on academic communication, presentation, and articulation of research motivation. Communicate with professors to assess supervision compatibility and guide students on professional outreach. Evaluate students' understanding of their research questions and methods. Assess research proposal depth, logic, and feasibility, and provide systematic improvement suggestions. Participate in online meetings between students and supervisors when needed. Help students transform conceptual ideas into structured, actionable research plans.

Qualifications

PhD from a UK or US university (Psychology, Education, Management, or Social Sciences preferred). Experience in academic supervision, research project guidance, or journal review preferred. Experience guiding students through university admissions processes (PhD, Master's, or undergraduate) is highly valued. Native or Near-Native English Responsible, detail-oriented, and committed to long-term academic mentorship. High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism; no freelance or external client work. This is a remote position and does not provide visa sponsorship.
