Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Undertake daily phlebotomy clinics Creation and printing of blood test forms Recording and updating patient data such as height, weight, smoking status, health & well-being needs, including contacting patients with missing data. Perform blood pressure checks following Practice protocol Processing and management of bloods and laboratory samples as requested by GPs/nurses in a timely manner for daily collection Chaperoning duties Surgical equipment, medical consumables and vaccine ordering, re-stocking and stock rotation Take an active involvement in infection control monitoring and compliance Check internal emails, NHS emails and Emis tasks on a daily basis, completing any tasks in a timely fashion To work in accordance of written protocols and keep abreast of changes To undertake statutory and mandatory training To work as part of our Nursing team To work collaboratively with other surgeries within Shrewsbury PCN
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
