THE ROLE

As a Physiotherapist at Physio Motive, no two days are the same and that's the way we like it! You'll be at the heart of our clinic, helping patients feel stronger, move better, and live pain-free. Your main responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough tailored assessments of musculoskeletal conditions froma diverse range of patient demographics. Creating individualised treatment plans and delivering hands-on physiotherapy, including manual therapy, tailored exercise prescription, and structured rehabilitation programs, making full use of all available facilities. Utilising shockwave therapy in conjunction with patient treatment plans. Referring patients into the clinic's advanced technology including diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided injections, to ensure the best possible outcomes. Monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed, and celebrating milestones with patients. Educating patients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and long-term health goals. Maximising patient retention and driving in referrals into your diary. Working closely with the team to ensure seamless patient care, including liaising with GPs, consultants, and other healthcare professionals. Contributing to the clinic's growth by maintaining excellent patient relationships and promoting a positive, supportive environment. Be proactive in promoting yourself and Physio Motive as a business, whether through social media, networking opportunities, or involvement in local community and sporting events.

A TYPICAL DAY AT PHYSIO MOTIVE (not limited to)

Here's what a day working with us actually looks like... spoiler: it's fast-paced, fun, and never boring!

8:30am - 9:00am Coffee in hand

, diary open, clinic prepped. You're fired up and ready to kick-start the day making people feel better.

9:00am - 11:00am Four patient slots (30 mins each)

. Could be hands-on physio, acupuncture, shockwave therapy. This is where you work your magic and rack up some early patient wins.

11:00am - 11:30am Admin slot #1

. Refresher hot / cold drink. Notes, follow-up emails / calls, plus a chat with the clinic lead to share challenges or celebrate wins.

11:30am - 12:30pm Two patient slots

. More rehab, more treatment, more smiles.

12:30pm - 1:00pm Admin slot #2.

Notes phone calls.You'll prep for your 1:1 catch-up with the clinic lead (think: mini coaching session, not boring meeting).

1:00pm - 2:00pm Lunch

. Time to refuel, relax, or sneak in a gym session (free staff access outside hours!).

2:00pm - 3:30pm Three patient slots

. Back in the zone. More progress tracked, more happy faces, more high-fives all round.

3:30pm - 4:30pm Project time

. Could be creating fresh marketing media content, helping shape exciting new services. Shadowing the clinic lead in action, you'll watch assessments, ask questions, and pick up the kind of real-world skills no textbook will ever teach you.

4:30pm - 5:30pm

Mentoring with the lead physio.

This is all about YOU! You'll dive into tricky cases, grab pro tips you can use straight away, and walk out sharper than you walked in. Plus you'll leave with a clear action plan to keep levelling up.

By 5:30pm, you're out the door. Patients buzzing, notes nailed, and you leave knowing you've genuinely made a difference (while the clinic keeps on changing lives until later in the evening).

Qualifications / Registrations

BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy MSc Pre reg) Physiotherapy (Pre reg) HCPC Registered CSP Member Enhanced DBS checked

Clinical Experience

Ideally 2+ years post-qualification with a strong interest in MSK. Experience in private practice (desirable). Background in treating sporting injuries. Broad core rotational experience (MSK, orthopaedics, neurology, care of the elderly, falls prevention). Confident hands on skills.

Desirable Skills

Qualified in acupuncture / dry needling. Sports Massage qualification. Previous exposure to diagnostic ultrasound, guided injections, or shockwave therapy.
