Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a
Pick-Up Driver / Yard Person
to join our busy
Solid Fuel Team
. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of driving and yard work.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver a variety of products including 20kg & 40kg bags of coal, sacks of logs, dumpy bags, and similar items.
Load the vehicle daily, picking products accurately from the yard and securing the load for delivery.
Deliver the correct products and quantities to customers and locations.
Assist with yard duties during quieter periods, including tidying pallets, organising coal, and helping load vehicles.
Operate a forklift if qualified (desirable but not essential; training can be provided).
Skills & Experience:
Full UK driving license.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely.
Reliability, flexibility, and a team-oriented attitude.
Forklift experience is desirable but not essential.

6 Month Fixed Term Contract
October - March
8am to 4.30pm (30 mins unpaid lunch)
40 hours per week
