Pig Stock/person/assitant Manager
Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for an individual, who is practically minded, hands on and has a very keen interest in Livestock (PIGS) and their welfare.
This role is for a person who enjoys working outdoors in an agricultural environment. This job requires an individual to be a good team player as well using their own intitative when independent working. Pig farming is a manual job so does require a good level of fitness. We are producers and work on a three week cycle of serving, farrowing and weaning, therefore you would be required to work 1 in 3 weekends. We pride ourselves to be very clean and tidy and have a passion to keep this standard throughout the buinsess.
In addition, our growing business will provide the opportunity to gain valuable hands on experience and ongoing learning within pig husbandry, and even the potential to secure long term career in pig production/management.
