TITLE

Pig Team Coordinator

MAJOR PURPOSE OF JOB

To support the Pig Team in coordination and administration of the office functions that support our service delivery to pig clients.

LOCATION OF JOB

This job is based at the Main Ripon Practice.

HOURS OF WORK

35 hours/week (5 days/week). Part time also considered.

LINES OF AUTHORITY

Responsible to the Pig team and reporting to Pig partner

MAIN DUTIES



Pig Vet Diary Management

Responding to client queries

Administration of QVR and associated Pig Visits

Administration of lab reporting

Assimilation of specific reports for clients

Other duties

- Liaising with central practice functions - HR, H&S, vehicles etc to align pig team with practice management standards.

- Working with the wider farm support team to support and seek support.

- Supporting with organisation and logistics - Booking and preparing rooms, food and IT equipment for meetings as required.

- Sending reminders to team leaders on key deadlines, meetings and action points as required

QUALIFICATIONS



Appropriate skills and experience supersede qualifications

Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths.

EXPERIENCE



Team organisational experience an advantage

PA skills may be helpful if in a team setting

Some experience of agricultural context an advantage

Competent use of relevant software applications including MS Office Professional

Proficient in the use of email and internet

Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

Experience in administrative procedures and process management

Understanding of HR and departmental processes, procedures and requirements
