Job Title: Pipe Laying Gangs - Snettisham (Start Date: 2nd June)

Location: Snettisham, Norfolk

Job Type: Contract (Approx. 5 Months)

Start Date: Tuesday, 4th June 2025

Pay Rate: Competitive - to be discussed based on experience

We are currently recruiting experienced Pipe Laying Gangs for a major infrastructure project in Hunstanton, commencing on 4th June. This project offers 5 months of continuous work, with potential follow-on opportunities for high-performing teams.

Job Responsibilities:

Installation of foul and stormwater drainage systems Laying of clay, concrete, and plastic pipes to line and level Trench excavation, pipe bedding, backfilling, and compaction Installation of manholes, catch pits, and inspection chambers Ensuring all pipework meets quality standards and tolerances Working to site drawings, levels, and drainage layouts Adhering to on-site health and safety standards at all times Coordinating with site supervisors and other gangs to meet project deadlines
Requirements:

Proven track record in pipe laying on civil or residential infrastructure projects A complete gang typically consists of: 1 x Pipe Layer (lead operative) 1 x Top Man (experienced in checking levels and assisting) 1 x Groundworker/Labourer (supporting tasks)

Valid CSCS cards for all team members (CPCS/NPORS if operating plant) Experience in deep drainage and trench shoring Ability to interpret construction drawings and drainage specifications Confined space training is beneficial but not essential Reliable transport and own tools preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills
