40,000 - 65,000 per year (Negotiable based on experience)

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Pitched Roofing Estimator with refurbishment knowledge to join our Bedford-based team. You will be responsible for producing accurate tenders and supporting the delivery of exceptional pitched roofing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed and competitive tenders for pitched roofing refurbishment projects

Carry out site visits, measurements, and material assessments

Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate costings

Support project handovers to the contracts team

Maintain knowledge of pitched roofing materials, techniques, and industry standards

About You:

2-5 years' experience in pitched roofing estimating (refurbishment focus preferred)

Proven success in pricing commercial and/or residential projects

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software (roofing-specific packages advantageous)

Desirable:

Degree or qualification in construction management

In-depth knowledge of pitched roofing refurbishment processes

Valid driving licence and ability to work at height if required

DBS check (provided by the company)
