Responsibilities

Prepare high-quality pizza in accordance with established recipes and standards. Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Help maintain a positive and productive work environment within the kitchen team.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and meal preparation processes. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. A passion for cooking and creativity in menu development is highly desirable. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
