Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu and customer preferences.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Help create an enjoyable dining experience for guests by presenting dishes attractively.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Experience in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
A culinary qualification or relevant training is desirable but not essential.
