Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and at least 2 years experience in food preparation within a restaurant environment. As a Pizza chef . you will be responsible for creating delicious pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and presentation while ensuring food safety practices are adhered to at all times.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, maintaining high standards of food safety. Assist in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and managing dough. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and utensils. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management. Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant setting, preferably with pizza or Italian cuisine. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new techniques. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
