Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to join our team at 1260 Craft & Crust, Penwortham. The ideal candidate will have a love for contemporary Neapolitan Style Pizza.

Working hours are flexible with a weekly rota allowing you to prioritise your personal commitments and we will consider both part and full-time applicants depending on what you are looking for.

Restaurant opening hours - Tuesday - 1700 - 2100, Wed - Sat - 1200 - 2100, Sunday 1200- 1930.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
- Assist in the preparation of other menu items as needed, demonstrating versatility in culinary skills.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating to staff stock levels and placing orders.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality, performing basic maintenance as required.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of all meals served.

Requirements
- Proven restaurant experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation.
- A passion for culinary arts and creativity in cooking styles.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the restaurant's schedule.

Job Types: Full-time or part time, both permanent

Pay: 11.50-12.50 per hour depending on age and experience

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week - negotiable to suit your requirements.
