Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Darlington Rugby Football Club in Darlington. This role is vital in delivering delicious pizzas that enhance our guests' dining experience during matches and events. In addition to kitchen duties, you will also be required to work behind the bar, serving alcoholic beverages to guests.

Please note: This role requires the candidate to be aged 18 or over due to licensing regulations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and standards. Ensure the kitchen area is clean, organized, and compliant with food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation during busy service periods. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality. Assist in training new kitchen staff on pizza preparation techniques. Participate in menu development by suggesting new pizza recipes or variations. Provide excellent customer service by accommodating special requests when possible. Serve customers behind the bar, including preparing and serving alcoholic beverages responsibly and in accordance with licensing laws. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Pizza Cook or similar role in a restaurant, bar, or catering environment. Knowledge of bar service and experience handling alcoholic beverages is an advantage. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety and licensing regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Passion for creating high-quality dishes and delivering great customer service. Must be 18 years or older.
Standard Shifts

Possible cover on Tuesdays 5pm - 10pm

Match days Saturday - 12.30pm to 7pm
