Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Chef to join our busy kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in food preparation and culinary arts, with experience in cooking and working within a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in pizza making and contribute to delivering high-quality meals to our customers. Previous experience in food safety, meal preparation, and serving is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and standards Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including dough, toppings, and sauces Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including work surfaces and utensils Support the team during busy periods by assisting with meal preparation and serving as needed Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role Knowledge of food safety standards and practices within a commercial kitchen Previous experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Good organisational skills with the ability to work as part of a team Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required A passion for culinary arts and delivering excellent customer service
