About the role

Our placements last for 12 months where you will gain valuable experience and develop a number of key skills working in our IT department. Our IT team is responsible for managing the company's information technology needs in a busy, fast-moving environment. This placement will provide you with a real insight into the role of an IT professional.

What you'll do

Provide expert assistance to hundreds of users based in offices and construction sites across the UK. Work as part of the service desk providing first line support, ensuring our people have access to the systems and software they need. Have the opportunity to learn about and work with Infrastructure, Database and Application teams to improve knowledge and skills. Be involved in the rollout and upgrades of various systems, including mobile tech and mobile device management.

What you'll need

You must be studying a full-time undergraduate degree in Business Technology, Software Engineering, Cyber Security or other related courses. Excellent IT skills and a desire to learn about new technologies and how we can implement them to improve the way we work. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to juggle numerous projects simultaneously. A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
