We are seeking a proactive and organised Planning Administration Assistant to support our Validation team in delivering high-quality services that support the wider planning department by registering and assessing planning applications. This is a key administrative role that ensures the smooth running of day-to-day operations, including case management, data entry and customer service.


What You'll Be Doing




Provide administrative support to the Validation Team. Maintain accurate records and databases. Monitor mailboxes Setting up planning applications Reconciling planning payments. Respond to public enquiries via, email, phone, in person, offering excellent customer service. Liaise with internal departments and members of the public to support service delivery.

What You'll Bring to the Role




Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a local authority or regulatory environment. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment The ability to manage sensitive data and maintain confidentiality at all times. A calm, adaptable, and customer-focused approach to your work. Knowledge of Planning services is desirable; however, full training will be given.
