Location: Basingstoke- remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required

Contract: Permanent, full time \xe2\x80\x93 flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Salary: up to \xc2\xa365,000 per annum, depending on experience

Responsibilities

As a Planning Manager, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be working within the Delivery Team, supporting them with the end-to-end delivery of committed KPIs as well as providing leadership, direction, and development of the wider planning team.

Your day to day will include:

Full ownership and accountability of operational delivery plans, from mobilisation through to delivery. Project Management of operational delivery \xe2\x80\x93 flex & civils, working closely with civils delivery and project managers and attend and chair all required meetings both client & Kier / supply chain

Co-ordination of work stack/multiple contractors/DL in line with delivery programme, ensuring delays are minimised by resolving operational issues to enable swift job closure and invoicing, and ensure prompt and accurate completion and return of relevant compliance documentation

Liaise with the local authorities (ensure appropriate notices and work programme agreements etc.) Overseeing the successful applications of permits and coordination of permitting for all operational delivery * Jeopardy managing of works to ensure that the required by date delivery and volume delivery targets are met. Planning to value, ensuring maximum productivity out of the operational delivery DL/supplier teams and ensure staff/operatives are regularly monitored and motivated to deliver the highest possible standards

  • Lead and develop a team to successfully meet and exceed both Kier/Openreach expectations and ensure relevant Health and Safety standards are followed and achieved
