We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Planning Manager to oversee and optimise our planning processes for resource and material planning. The Planning Manager is responsible for the entire factory plan, warehousing, and dispatch areas.
Your main responsibilities will be:-
Development, implementation, and control of business planning.
Leading the development (internal and external) of scheduling tools to increase level of automation to reduce manual scheduling.
Leading and developing the production planning team.
Create long, medium- and short-term manufacturing planning and control plans.
Scheduling - loading - sequencing, monitoring, and controlling.
Preparing plans for The Manufacturing Teams.
Lead all planning meetings - daily, weekly, and monthly.
Prepare master production schedule while maintaining targeted WIP and material levels.
Cooperate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, KAM and Purchasing to achieve OTD at optimum cost with optimum inventory levels.
Identify and manage bottlenecks and capacity issues across the company.
Establish and monitor MRP parameters including safety stocks levels, WIP, finished goods and raw material inventories.
Cooperate closely with Head of Operations on future operation plans and requirements.
Be part of major quote activities.
Cooperation with project management team to schedule coming projects.
Work with sales team to understand and highlight specific capacity challenges and prepare a plan to eliminate risks.
Part of the commit process for Production.
Run operational improvement projects.
Support operations team.
Preparing weekly/monthly and annual reports.
Knowledge & Qualifications
Minimum bachelor's degree (Electronics, Computer Science or Process Automation) or 5 years of experience in production or planning role.
Understanding of RCCP and asset utilisation.
Knowledge of configuration control.
Working within and ISO quality plan.
Experience of process flow design & relevant documentation creation.
