Plasma Operative

Production - Dungannon, County Tyrone

Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x standard rate

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders. Set up machines, adjust settings, and select the appropriate cutting programs. Inspect materials before and after cutting to ensure accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications. Perform basic machine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Monitor cutting speeds, gas flow, and torch alignment for optimal performance. Handle raw materials, finished parts, and scrap safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate production records and follow job tracking systems. Follow safety protocols, including PPE usage, fire prevention, and safe material handling. Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality inspectors to meet production goals. Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Essential Criteria:

1-3 years of experience operating CNC plasma cutting machines or related equipment Ability to operate a folklift (forklift license not essential as fully training will be provided) Strong understanding of Health & Safety responsibilities Positive attitude and team-focused mindset Ability to work to technical drawings with minimal supervision
