Wilson Associates Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced Plasma Profile Cutting Operator to work with our client based in Stanley
We are seeking a skilled Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery and tools in a Engineering environment, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work with precision and attention to detail.

Duties

Operate machinery for welding, grinding, and assembling components as per specifications. Fabricate parts using hand tools and tooling equipment to meet production requirements. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required standards. Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and basic maintenance tasks. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
Skills

Proficiency in welding, grinding, and assembly techniques. Experience with hand tools and fabrication processes. Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in working with sheet metal. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
