We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering techniques and experience working with various materials. This role involves applying plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth finish, and preparing surfaces for decoration. The successful applicant will be detail-oriented and possess excellent craftsmanship skills.

Responsibilities

Apply plaster to interior and exterior walls, ceilings, and other surfaces. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, and applying bonding agents as necessary. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to achieve desired finishes. Repair damaged plasterwork and carry out maintenance tasks as required. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and bricklayers, to ensure project completion. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Assist in the installation of fixtures or fittings that require plastering.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plastering work. Knowledge of masonry techniques and bricklaying is advantageous. tasks is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights or on roofs when necessary. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in within a team.
