We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering techniques and experience with various materials. This role involves working on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. The Plasterer will work closely with other tradespeople, contributing to the overall success of construction projects.

Duties

Apply plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth and even finish. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing, and applying bonding agents as necessary. Mix plaster and other materials according to specifications for various applications. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for plastering tasks. Collaborate with carpenters, bricklayers, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of work. Perform repairs on existing plasterwork, including patching and re-surfacing as required. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in the installation of fixtures that may require plastering or masonry skills.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to plastering tasks. Knowledge of masonry techniques is advantageous. Experience in roofing or carpentry is desirable but not essential. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
