Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth and even finish. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of various plastering techniques. The Plasterer will work closely with other tradespeople and contribute to the overall quality of construction projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, and applying bonding agents as necessary. Mix plaster according to specifications and apply it to walls and ceilings using appropriate techniques. Ensure that plaster is applied evenly and achieves the desired finish. Repair damaged plasterwork, including patching holes and cracks. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and bricklayers, to ensure seamless integration of plasterwork with other materials. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while working on-site.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a related field. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plastering tasks. Familiarity with masonry techniques. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship. Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods. Previous experience in carpentry or roofing is a plus, as well as techniques.

Pay: 14.98-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 10 per week

8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday
