Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering and related construction skills, ensuring high-quality finishes on various surfaces. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Also be able to help out with the Spray rendering

Duties

Apply plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth and even finish. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying bonding agents as necessary. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to achieve desired results. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of plastering work with other construction elements. Conduct repairs on existing plaster surfaces, including patching cracks and holes. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations. Assist in the installation of drywall and other related materials when required. Perform bricklaying tasks as needed for structural support or decorative purposes.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to plastering work. Basic knowledge of masonry techniques is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality workmanship. Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Be able to get to work in the Lancaster and Kendal area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
