Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering and related construction skills. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth and even finish. Your expertise in using various tools and techniques will contribute to the overall quality of our projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning and repairing as necessary. Mix plaster according to specifications for optimal consistency. Apply plaster using hand tools and power tools to achieve a smooth finish on walls and ceilings. Work collaboratively with other tradespeople, including carpenters and bricklayers, to ensure project timelines are met. Perform repairs on existing plasterwork as required. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist with masonry tasks when needed, including bricklaying and roofing work.

Experience

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry is essential. Familiarity with various plastering techniques and materials. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plastering and masonry work. Experience in carpentry is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Pay: 14.59-18.00 per hour
