Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering techniques and a keen eye for detail. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth finish. Your expertise will contribute to the overall quality of our construction projects, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for plaster application by cleaning and repairing as necessary. Mix plaster materials according to specifications for optimal consistency and durability. Apply plaster using various techniques to achieve desired finishes on walls and ceilings. Work with masonry and bricklaying as required, ensuring proper integration with existing structures. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Undertake additional tasks related to roofing when necessary, demonstrating versatility in your skill set.

Experience

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry is essential. A strong understanding of building materials and their applications is preferred. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication skills. A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship while meeting deadlines is crucial. Must hold a full driving licence
