As the Fireline plasterboard doesn't run up to the ceiling, we would have to do this first, it will also give the duct installers a fixing point for the dampers, where the ducts run inline with the firewall, these will need to be moved moved? We would need to be there at the same time as your damper installers are on site, so we can work together to find solutions.

We will also wherever plasterboard is missing from the ceilings and attempt to make an umbrella zone attaching 15mm Firelined plasterboard each side of the firewall to the ceiling, all these works will also be taped and jointed.

Once all this has been done, we will then seal all penetrations and gaps with batt and mastic
