Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering and related construction skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This role involves applying plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth finish while adhering to safety standards and quality expectations.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, smoothing, and applying bonding agents as necessary. Mix plaster according to specifications and apply it using appropriate techniques. Use power tools and hand tools effectively to achieve desired finishes. Conduct repairs on existing plasterwork, including patching and resurfacing. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and bricklayers, to ensure project completion. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Inspect completed work for quality assurance before final sign-off. IWI work.

Requirements

Proven experience in plastering or a related field is essential. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade. Knowledge of rendering technique is advantageous. Familiarity with roofing systems can be beneficial for specific projects. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
