Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plasterer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying plaster to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying necessary primers or bonding agents. Mix plaster according to specifications and apply it evenly using hand tools such as trowels and hawks. Use power tools for mixing, cutting, or shaping materials as required. Install lath or mesh reinforcement where necessary to ensure durability of the plaster finish. Repair damaged surfaces by removing old plaster and reapplying new layers with precision. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as bricklayers, roofers, to complete projects efficiently. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and project specifications. Maintain a clean work environment by clearing debris and properly storing tools and materials.

Qualifications

Proven experience in plastering, rendering or related construction trades. Proficiency in using hand tools including trowels, floats, and spatulas. Experience with power tools such as mixers, and drills. Knowledge of plastering , rendering is advantageous. Familiarity with safety procedures. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Good physical fitness with the ability to work at heights or in confined spaces if required. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, be punctual, and demonstrate a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
