Job Summary:

EFAB Resourcing are looking for an experienced Plater to carry out fabrication and structural work on a heavy industrial site. The role involves reading engineering drawings, preparing and assembling steel components, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications. Cut, shape, and assemble metal plates and sections using hand and power tools. Carry out structural fabrication and installation tasks on-site. Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality. Collaborate with welders, riggers, and other trades as needed.

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding or equivalent. Proven experience in plating within industrial or gas plant settings. Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: 26.24-41.44 per hour

Work Location: In person
