Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled structural steel Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, demonstrating proficiency using overhead cranes and with various power and hand tools. This role involves assembling components, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring the highest quality standards in the fabrication process. The Fabricator will play a crucial part in producing high-quality products that meet our clients' specifications.

Responsibilities

Operate welding equipment, to fabricate metal components as per specifications. Utilise power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Read and interpret technical drawings. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Collaborate with team members to improve fabrication processes and efficiency. Conduct basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements and dimensions during fabrication.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with structural steel work is highly desirable. Proficient in using overhead cranes. Proficient in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations are essential. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. A proactive approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting during the fabrication process.
