About the Role



We are looking for a

skilled and dependable Plater Fabricator/Welder

to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced tradesperson with strong

MIG welding and heavy plate fabrication

skills, working with materials ranging from

10mm to 100mm thick

. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and take pride in producing high-quality, precision work.

Key Responsibilities



Fabricate and assemble

structural steel components to precise engineering drawings. Perform

MIG welding

to a high standard, ensuring strength, accuracy, and clean finishes. Read and interpret

technical drawings and blueprints

with accuracy. Operate

workshop machinery and tools

safely and efficiently. Carry out

quality inspections

to verify that components meet required specifications. Maintain a

clean, organised, and safe

working environment. Work both

independently and collaboratively

within a skilled team.

Candidate Requirements



Proven experience in

plate fabrication, MIG welding

, and general steel fabrication. Strong

mechanical understanding

and basic fault-finding ability. Confident using

hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment

. Excellent

attention to detail

and precision in all work. Basic

mathematical ability

for measuring, marking out, and calculations.

Reliable, self-motivated

, and a good team player.
