As the Platform Engineering Lead, you will play a crucial part in our journey to building a modern banking platform. You will have a particular focus on improving developer experience and enabling developer productivity by leading the Platform team.

What would your day look like?

• Strive to provide self-service capabilities that benefit all engineering teams, such as CI/CD, IaC & common components.
• Maintain and prioritize the platform roadmap. Support the squad in creating and refining user stories.
• Engage with developers to identify opportunities to improve the platform.
• Collaborate with the security architecture & cloud teams to deliver common requirements through the platform
• Continuously seek to understand and improve the platform capabilities you help to deliver.
• Maintain a keen interest on industry trends and promote best practices.
• Advocate agile ways of working
• Identify and mitigate risks that may impact delivery

What do we expect of you?

• Experience working as a product owner or similar role in technical product development
• A background in software development, architecture or related disciplines
• Technical understanding of Continuous Delivery, Cloud infrastructure, Observability & Incident Management
• User engagement and empirical approach to problem solving
• An understanding or interest in modern Platform Engineering and DevOps principles
• Experience defining goals, creating roadmaps and planning work.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong communication skills and creating great technical documentation
