Fun Fest Amersham will be opening at Woodside Junior School, Mitchell Walk, Amersham, Bucks, HP6 6NW from 16th to 20th February, 30th March to 10th April and 26th to 29th May 2026.
The Job:
Assist with planning, preparing, and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment.
Providing comprehensive care for the children
Setting up the play space including moving furniture and play equipment.
Ensuring that hygiene and health & safety standards are met.
Willingness to undertake intimate care duties as required
Administering first aid when necessary. (If holding a Paediatric First Aid Certificate)
Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities.
Helping with club administration, where necessary.
Supervise Play Workers and support other team members in delivering a safe environment and exciting activities for the children where required.
Encouraging parental involvement in the club.
Facilitating good communication with all members of the organisation, parents, and schools.
Undertaking appropriate and relevant training.
Keeping the work environment healthy, clean, safe and secure.
Working within the framework of the club's policies and procedures.
The Commitment:
This role is available for Monday - Friday of school holidays, excluding bank and Christmas holidays, to cover the opening hours of 8.00am - 6.00pm per day. Flexible shift patterns will be on offer to match availability.
Salary and Benefits:
Hourly Rate 11.21 - 13.68 (depending on age and experience)

We are looking for:
Someone who loves to see children of all ages enjoying different activities and having fun. You'll be friendly and approachable, with excellent communication interpersonal skills. You will be able to work closely with the management team to ensure that the club organisation and administration is of the highest quality.
Ofsted recognised NVQ Level 3 qualification or above in Childcare. (Mandatory)
Experience working with children in a fast-paced environment. (Mandatory)
Knowledge of Safeguarding. (desirable)
Experience of working in an Early Years setting (desirable)
Paediatric First Aid training (desirable)
We are committed to safeguarding; all staff will be required to have a DBS check and references before starting.
Specific Fun Fest Holiday Club training will be provided to successful candidates.
