Simply Out of School are recruiting new Play Leader for our holiday club based at Coety Primary School, Bridgend.

Hours of work:

7.45am - 6.00pm
Monday to Friday of every half term and 5 weeks of the summer holidays
(Excluding Christmas and Bank Holidays)

:

Managing the day-to-day running of the Holiday Club, including setting up and clearing up. Preparing Breakfast, snack, lunch, drinks, and tea in line with club's Healthy Eating Policy. Supervising children that have allergies and medical making sure their needs are met. Supervising play opportunities with children. Supervising and supporting Play Workers. To promote the high standards of the club at all times to parents, staff and visitors. Contributing towards planning and preparation of craft activities and assisting children with these. To be aware of and act in accordance with current legislation, good practice, club policies and procedures. Liaising with school staff on times and working closely with Simply out of School head office
The successful candidate will be a lively, enthusiastic, self-motivated person who is able to work both as part of a team and on their own initiative. They must be able to get on well with, and respect all children and adults, must be prepared to 'muck-in' with all tasks and must have a good understanding of safety awareness and risk assessment. They must be willing to undergo relevant initial and on-going training and DBS checks.

Qualifications:

A Level 3 qualification in Playwork or CCLD is

essential.

Current First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene Certificates an advantage..

Two references will be required at interview stage.

A full CV (with no time gaps) is required prior to interview.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
