Day to day managing of the after school club setting
Contribute to the day-to-day running of the After School Club, including setting up and clearing up.
Responsibility for the safety and welfare of the children.
Some daily paperwork.
Preparing snack, drinks and tea in line with club's Healthy Eating Policy.
Supervising play opportunities with children.
Planning and preparation of craft activities and assisting children with these.
Rate of pay:
13.50 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience.
The successful candidate will be a lively, enthusiastic, well organised and self-motivated person who is able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative and has some leadership skills. They must be able to get on well with, and respect all children and adults, must be prepared to 'muck-in' with all tasks and must have a good understanding of safety awareness and risk assessment. They must be willing to undergo relevant initial and on-going training and CRB checks.
Two references will be required at interview stage.
