Role Overview:
Premier-Education is seeking enthusiastic and caring Play Workers to join our dynamic team. As a Play Worker, you will provide a safe, stimulating, and enjoyable environment for children during out-of-school hours, such as after-school clubs and holiday camps,. Your role involves supervising, engaging, and inspiring children through creative, active, and play-based activities.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage children in various play activities at our wraparound care venues
Create a safe and inclusive environment for children to explore, learn, and have fun
Plan and organise age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities
Encourage social interaction and positive behaviour among children
Assist with snack time and ensure dietary restrictions are followed
Maintain cleanliness of play areas and equipmen
Communicate with parents/carers regarding their child's progress and any concerns
Experience:
Previous experience working with children in a childcare or setting is preferred
Ability to effectively manage a group of children and maintain control in a play environment
Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and other staff members
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm to engage children in play-based learning
