Play Worker
Job Description
We are looking to recruit a Play Worker to join our friendly staff team.
Little Owls Day Nursery is located in the village of Danbury, near Chelmsford. We are a privately run day nursery, open Monday to Friday for 51 weeks of the year. We offer 'Outstanding' (Ofsted 2017) quality childcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Our brand new Before and After School Club will open its doors in September 2022.
We offer our employees 28 days holidays including bank holidays, free parking and free uniform. We provide regular training days, including a full induction and support for all our employees.
We provide childcare for up to 108 children in our spacious, well resourced Rooms. We also have a spacious purpose built garden area.
Role Description
The successful candidate will need to be caring and professional with experience of working with children aged between 4 years and 11 years old. The successful candidate will need to have a passion for early years and education as well as lots of enthusiasm for delivering the highest quality practice. With the ability to support children's learning and development, hold strong communication skills both written and verbal.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week on a shift basis, Monday to Friday between 6.45 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. Part time/ term time only positions also available 7:00am-9:00am/ 3:00pm-6:30pm.
We will also consider applications from qualified candidates with limited or out of date experience, as training and support will be offered.
Successful applicants will need to provide 'right to work in the UK' documentation, undertake an enhanced DBS check and provide two satisfactory references prior to commencing employment.

Pay: 10.00-12.25 per hour
