What You'll Be Doing:
As a Playworker / Manager, you'll take the lead in planning, coordinating, and delivering high-quality play and activity sessions. You'll support a team and ensure every session is safe, inclusive, and fun.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support a team
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
Prepare light snacks for children and manage food hygiene safely
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment
Ensure club spaces are well-organised and fully stocked with supplies
Be the first point of contact for incident management and reporting
Uphold and model best safeguarding practices
Liaise with the senior leadership team and ensure policies are consistently followed
Create a culture of kindness, empathy, and fun!
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children (Playworker, Teaching Assistant, Sports Coach, Childcare roles ideal)
Proven leadership or team management experience
Excellent communication and organisation skills
An energetic, compassionate, and adaptable approach
Knowledge of safeguarding policies and practices (training can be provided)
A genuine passion for helping children grow through active play

Qualifications
Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Leadership and team management experience
Background in early childhood education
Ability to teach and engage children effectively
Valid driver's license and proficiency in English
