We are a busy and vibrant childcare provder with 3 out of school care and holiday clubs for families across the North West of Glasgow and Milngavie. We currently require energetic Childcare Practitioners to join our team working with school aged children in the outdoors.

No two days are the same, so energy and creativity are a must! You might be leading an arts and crafts activity, doing some home baking, building a den, going on a bear hunt, directing a play or supervising our homework corner. Or for the more extreme going paddleboarding on loch lomond or climbing at a crag. We're very much child centred so the only limit to what we offer is the children's imaginations.

Now more than ever there is a big emphasis for children to spend more time outdoors. Therefore, a passion for the outdoors and an enthusiasm which can be absorbed by others would be a desirable quality.

The successful applicants will be required to meet the criteria for registration with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme, Scottish Social Services Council and will be reference checked.

Requirements: Our Childcare Practitioners must hold a relevant childcare or play-work qualification at SVQ level 3 or equivalent. This post will require registration with SSSC at Practitioner level.

Hours of Work - This vacancy is for up to 25 hours per week during term time and in school holidays this may increase; The successful applicant must be available for our hours of service: 1.45 - 7.00pm term time. Holiday club hours operate 7.45-6.15pm. Weekly contracted hours and flexible shift patterns are available by negotiation as we strongly believe in investing in our staff and promoting a healthy work/life balance.
