We are seeking a dedicated Play Worker to join our team in providing engaging and safe play activities for children. The role involves supervising and interacting with children in an after shool club setting, fostering their development through play. The role would suit qualified or unqualified staff.
Duties
- Manage and oversee play activities for children.
- Provide leadership and guidance during play sessions
- Engage with children to create a fun and stimulating play environment
- Utilise childcare skills to ensure the safety and well-being of all children
- Qualified staff will use their knowledge of early childhood education principles to support children's learning through play
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Drive initiatives that promote creativity and social interaction among children
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but training will be discussed.
- Knowledge of nursery practices and childcare techniques
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written
- Qualifications in early childhood education are desirable
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and adults
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21-13.20 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
