21 hours per week

Full year contract

During the term time the hours of work will be between 2pm-6pm Monday-Thursday and 11.30am-6pm on a Friday

Guaranteed contracted hours over the school holidays for full year contract, the hours of work during the school holidays will vary to meet the full day.

Childcare Connections is a Voluntary sector organisation that provides Out of school care and Holiday play provision in four locations in South Edinbrugh (Liberton, Gilmerton, Gracemount & Moredun) for children aged 4-12.

We are currently looking for individuals to join our highly motivated and experienced childcare team in planning and providing fun, inclusive, creative and exciting out of school care for school age children.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates must hold an SVQ3 in Play Work or a Childcare qualification as recognised by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)

Ability to work on own initiative.

Be able to assist with the planning of activities, supporting and engaging with children during the sessions.

Participate in a range of activities with the children during sessions both inside and outside.

Will be able to prepare healthy snacks for the children

All appointments are subject to satisfactory references and a PVG check and you will be required to register with the SSSC.
