Position Overview:



Timings:

Monday to Friday; 7:15am to 8:45am, then 3pm to 6pm.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist with the planning and delivery of quality play experiences that engage and inspire children. Provide comprehensive care for children, including safely collecting them from school and delivering them to their parents or carers. Set up the play space, ensuring that hygiene, health, and safety standards are met at all times. Be prepared to administer first aid when necessary, ensuring the well-being of the children. Encourage children to participate in planning activities and involve parents in club events, fostering a sense of community. Maintain effective communication with all members of the organisation, parents, and schools, ensuring a seamless experience for everyone involved. Undertake relevant training and contribute to maintaining a healthy, safe, and secure work environment.

Essential Qualities:



Knowledge of play care and a commitment to equal opportunities for all children. Excellent communication skills, enabling you to connect with children, parents, and your team. An ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team. Sufficient understanding and use of the English language to communicate effectively with children and adults.
