Kidsoosa runs before & after school care based out of New end primary school Hampstead. We are looking for dedicated people to join our team providing the very best childcare in our area for each and every child, in what will be a very rewarding role. We are looking for a level 2 or 3 play-worker who can bring fun, enthusiasm, professionalism and drive to our setting.

Your responsibilities will include: -

Helping prepare and deliver quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment as per the time table Providing comprehensive care for the children Setting up the play space including moving furniture and play equipment Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met Meet and greet the children on arrival Administering first aid when necessary Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities and also planning weekly activities Facilitating good communication with all team members, parents, children and schools Undertaking appropriate and relevant training Keeping the work environment healthy, safe and secure Working within the framework of the club's policies and procedures Have a clear knowledge and understanding of safeguarding. Have knowledge of the EYFS framework Undertaking key-worker responsibilities
Essential skills required for the role:

Experience of working with children (ideally 4 to 11 year olds) Ideally you will have a relevant childcare qualification level 2 or 3 Understanding the varied needs of children and their families Understanding the issues involved in the delivery of quality play care Understanding the issues of equal opportunities Provide and facilitate safe and creative play with individual childrens needs. Good communication skills Able to work as part of a team Sound judgement and common sense Understanding of the EYFS First aid Safeguarding children Food hygiene Training will be provided.
Hours - Monday to Friday during term time only

2.30pm - 6pm plus staff meetings and inset days.

The hourly rate will be 14.00 to 14.50 per depending on experience.
