Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team. As a Play Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children to play, learn, and develop essential skills. Your role will involve organising and supervising various recreational activities while ensuring the well-being of all children under your care.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate and engage children.

- Supervise children during playtime to maintain a safe and supportive environment.

- Demonstrate leadership skills in guiding children through structured play sessions.

- Effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues to provide updates on children's progress.

- Manage group dynamics and resolve conflicts among children in a positive manner.

- Drive initiatives that promote creativity, social interaction, and learning through play.

- Uphold high standards of childcare by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.

- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members.

- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks while prioritising the well-being of children.

- Proficiency in English language both written and verbal.

- Passion for creating a nurturing environment that fosters growth and development in children.
