Job Purpose
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Playworker to join our afterschool club team. You will support primary school children aged 4-11, helping them enjoy a variety of fun, creative, and active play experiences in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and engage with children during afterschool club hours, promoting a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment.
Plan and deliver a range of activities, including arts and crafts, sports, games, and imaginative play.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging good behaviour and social development.
Assist with preparing and serving healthy snacks, following food hygiene standards.
Support daily routines, including setting up and tidying away activities and equipment.
Maintain accurate attendance records and any other necessary documentation.
Work closely with other EdStart staff, sharing ideas and contributing to a supportive team environment.
Follow all safeguarding, health, and safety procedures at all times.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 10.00-12.25 per hour
Expected hours: 6 - 15 per week
