The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience in childcare settings. As a Play Worker, you will be responsible for facilitating activities that promote social, emotional, and physical development in children over the lunchtime period (11.30am-1.30pm) during term time only

Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
Manage behaviour in a positive manner, using leadership skills to guide children through conflicts or challenges.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of play areas and resources.
Drive initiatives that promote inclusivity and respect among all children.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a nurturing environment conducive to learning.
Skills
Early childhood education experience is essential; qualifications in this area are highly desirable.
Strong management skills to oversee group activities and ensure smooth operations.
Proven experience in childcare settings, demonstrating an understanding of children's needs.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children and parents.
Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and respect among children.
Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the environment for all participants.
A genuine love for working with children and the ability to connect with them on their level.
