We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team, providing a safe and engaging environment for children. Duties
Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
Plan and implement creative play activities that promote learning and development.
Establish positive relationships with children, encouraging their participation and confidence.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating environment for children to explore.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Skills
Strong management and leadership abilities to guide children effectively.
Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles to support developmental milestones.
Excellent communication skills in English to interact clearly with children, parents, and colleagues.
A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children as needed.
A nurturing attitude combined with the ability to set appropriate boundaries for behaviour.
