Scale 3 point 6 25,989 (Approx. pro rata 9,011.88)

Working Pattern:

Part Time, all year

Working hours:

15 hours per week, Monday Friday, 3pm 6pm. Working flexibly in the school holiday periods

We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Play Worker to join our team. You will play a key role in planning and delivering engaging, safe, and inclusive play opportunities that support the development and well-being of children in our care. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fun environment whilst making a real difference in young children's lives through creative and stimulating play activities.



This is a physically demanding role with a requirement to keep up with the active students.





You should have a positive mind-set, the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and staff, be flexible and able to work on your own initiative.

You will:



Have a recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education or equivalent): https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-qualification-requirements-and-standards


Have previous experience working with young children in a play or early years setting is desirable.


Have a passion for play and child development.


Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.


Be creative in designing engaging and age-appropriate activities.


Have knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.


Ability to build strong relationships with children and families.
