Wanted: Breakfast and After School Club /Assistant Playworker at Woodlands Primary School.

Rainbow Out Of School Clubs Ltd has been operating a wrap around childcare business for 20 years. Our settings have grown from strength to strength over the years offering good quality affordable childcare for working families.

The success of which is due to 12 dedicated and committed Child Care Practitioners/Playworkers across our settings, whose sole aim is to provide a safe and engaging environment for the children we look after.

Many of our families will be with us throughout their time at Primary School making the service we offer a fundamental part of a child's time at Primary School. For many parents/carers & working families we are the bridge between a family and school. Rainbow staff are aware of this crucial relationship and professionally represent the Company at all times.

The position is for a Playworker - to work as part of team and support the Manager and other staff members with providing engaging activities and play opportunities during the breakfast and after school club. To help with the preparation of a light breakfast/snack.

Breakfast Club: 7:15 am to 8:45 am

After School Club: 3 Hours. Times: 3:00 p.m to 6:00 pm.

The above is School Term-time only.

Salary:

18.31 per morning session.

12.50 per hour - after school club.

We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and organised Playworker to join our busy professional team of Child Care Practitioners/Playworkers.

Duties: To support the team with organising & planning the daily operation of the breakfast and after school club.

To provide engaging activities, for children aged 4- 11 years, within a safe and nurturing environment.

Experience & Qualifications:

A Childcare qualification is preferable but not essential if the candidate can evidence full & relevant experience. A willingness to work towards a Playwork Qualification (fully funded) would be advantageous.

The candidate must have a minimum of basic training in Child protection & Safeguarding and must be willing to constantly update their CPD. (continuing professional development).

An enhanced DBS check is required.

The candidate must be able to work in a team, engage with parents and any other professional agencies.
